How Does a Geothermal System Work?

With geothermal heating and cooling, your home or business will maintain a comfortable temperature all year. We are certified and licensed by Missouri's Department of Natural Resources for geothermal heat pump installations. Geothermal Heating

The heat pump draws heat from underground, circulating it through a standard duct system as warm air. This energy can also be used for domestic water heating and radiant floor heating. Unlike a furnace, the geothermal heating system does not use any combustion to create heat. It collects the heat and distributes it all over the house.

Geothermal Cooling

When it gets hot outside, the geothermal cooling system collects the warm air inside and moves it to the cooler places on the ground. This is more efficient than a conventional central air conditioning system because ordinary coolers dump the excess heat in the already heat-saturated atmosphere.
